Entertainment mogul Tyler Perry is stepping up to help victims of Hurricane Dorian which ravaged the Bahamas over the weekend.

According to TMZ, Perry is using his personal seaplane based in Nassau to fly relief supplies to the Abaco Islands, a part of the Bahamas, which were hardest hit by the hurricane. According to reports, his plane already made 2 trips Thursday, and Perry hopes to send several more shipments.

Water, juice, diapers, sleeping bags and other necessities were reportedly packed onto the plane and delivered. Perry also reportedly brought 7 people, including children back to the U.S. on return trips who needed medical attention.

Perry had posted to Instagram earlier in this week that he was monitoring the situation and would be pledging help.

Perry isn't the only one pledging help. Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and The Walt Disney Company have also pledged to donate $1 million dollars each to help with recovery efforts.
