Two Arrested after Allegedly Trying to Steal Construction Equipment in Temple
Two men are in the Bell County Jail after they reportedly tried to steal construction equipment near downtown Temple Tuesday.
KXXV reports that Bell County Constable Thomas Prado was leaving his office when noticed Hank Boring and Brandon Mast loading a piece of tractor equipment from a construction site into their vehicle.
When Prado approached the men, they fled in their vehicle and threw the equipment out at North 12th St and Nugent Ave.
The two eventually stopped their vehicle and were arrested.
Both men were booked into the Bell County Jail on charges of Theft of Property Over $750, Less than $2,500. They remained in the jail Wednesday afternoon.
Bond for both men was set at $2,500.
