Truck Hauling Liquid Asphalt Catches Fire On Highway 195

Killeen police say a truck filled with liquid asphalt caught fire this morning on State Highway 195.

The fire broke out near the intersection of FM2670 shortly before 6:30 a.m. No injuries have been reported, and the flames were contained to the truck’s interior. Though none of the material being hauled spilled into the road, a haz-mat crew was at the scene as a precaution. The fire has been extinguished.
