The always fashionable Jay-Z salutes his favorite designer on the turnt-up banger 'Tom Ford,' off his latest album, 'Magna Carta Holy Grail.' So how does the designer himself feel about having a song dedicated to him?

"Who would not be flattered to have an entire Jay-Z track named after them? I mean, come on, it's pretty rare that something like that happens," says Tom Ford (quotes courtesy of WWD). "It's a kind of validation of one's work, as it means that one has really penetrated and made an impact on popular culture."

True indeed.

Jay-Z drops the designer's name repeatedly along with his luxury rhymes on the Timbaland-produced track.

"I don't pop molly, I rock Tom Ford / International, bring back the Concorde / Numbers don't lie, check the scoreboard, Tom Ford," he raps.

"I love that he gets a ‘high’ from my clothes," Ford says about Hov's infectious verse. "I have been dressing him for years now, and I have to say I think he looks great in my clothes. [He] is one of our biggest customers. He let me know about this quite a while ago.”

Tom Ford also gets name-checked from Justin Timberlake, who mentions him on his chart-topping single, 'Suit & Tie,' and wears his clothes in the accompanying video.

It's safe to say that Tom Ford's clothes will be in high demand now that he's received the biggest co-sign from Jay-Z himself.
