Feb. 6: Today in Black History Features Arthur Ashe + More
Did you know that Arthur Ashe remains the only African-American player to ever to win the men's singles at Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, or Australian Open. Ashe died from complications with AIDS on Feb. 6, 1993.
Happy Birthday to Natalie Cole, she is 65 today.
We also remember Bob Marley and Melvin Tolson, who have birthdays on this date.
Today's Black History quote comes from Eddie Murphy.
"I've always had confidence. It came because I have lots of initiative. I wanted to make something of myself."
