TLC Gets $5,000 Donation from Katy Perry

I guess begging works! Chilli and T-Boz of the hit girl group TLC kicked off a campaign to fund their fifth and final album. The goal is to raise $150,000, and pop superstar Katy Perry just helped them with a hefty $5,000 donation.

Chilli went to Twitter saying "Wow @katyperry...thanks so much for pledging!" I am sure that donation touched her and Tionne in a different way, because it is another artist showing that kind of support. Chilli went on to thank everyone who has donated.

I think I may be moved now to donate to their Kickstarter campaign. I love the group.
