Three tickets beat those 1 in 175 million odds and won the Powerball Jackpot.  They will split 564 million dollars!

Winning tickets were sold in North Carolina, Texas and Puerto Rico.  Puerto Rico! I didn't even know Puerto Rico could play.  This is the first win for somebody there.

None of those winning tickets came from Killeen, or Belton, or Copperas Cove, or Temple or anywhere else close.  The winning Texas ticket was sold at an at Appletree Food Mart in Princeton, which is about 50 miles northeast of Dallas.  It was NOT a quick pick.  They actually selected the winning numbers and the Powerball.  I can't wait to meet them to find out how long they have been playing this same set of numbers.

The jackpot has a cash value of $381 million, that means a three way split for the winners, $127 million each before taxes.

I haven't checked my tickets yet.  Maybe I won one of the lesser prizes. Texas did have 412,339 winners.

One question, how come psychics never win the lottery?
