In less than a year, an empty field on the corner of West Stan Schlueter Loop and South Ford Hood Street has been transformed into the newest H-E-B store in Killeen, and the anticipation for its grand opening keeps growing!

Here's what we do know so far for those of you curious about what's going to be inside, as well as 3 reasons you should be excited for it to open soon!

1. IN-HOUSE SMOKED BBQ!

That's right, the HEB plans to serve "True Texas BBQ", smoked and cooked in store and ready for you to snatch up! This will be fantastic for those of who need a quick BBQ fix in the middle of the day but don't want to wait all day for it!

2. Curb Side Service

Rushing around and don't have time run inside? Killeen's newest H-E-B has you covered offering curbside service to help speed up your shopping trip! But reason number 3 is why you should definitely get excited!

3.  (And probably most important) TEXAS BEER ON TAP!

If you're like me and you're constantly thinking as you wander the aisles of the supermarket with your wife and kids, "this shopping experience would be so much better if there were drinks involved", then your dreams are about to come true! The new H-E-B location will have Texas based brews on tap! Now we don't know if you'll be allowed to "drink and shop" at the same time but at least when you go shopping with your husband or boyfriend and he disappears for a minute, you'll know where to find him!
