Three people are in custody after allegedly robbing a man on South Avenue H in Temple early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a report of an aggravated robbery in the 100 block of S. Ave. H around 12:15 AM Sunday. The victim told them he'd been approached by three men who pointed a handgun at him and demanded his valuables. The three then fled on foot through an alleyway.

Police say the victim was able to provide descriptions of all three suspects, which helped them find and detain them quickly. An officer responding to the scene spotted the three in the 900 block of South 3rd Street and arrested them without incident.

One of the suspects was in possession of property stolen from the victim, and more of the victim's property was found lying in a grassy area near the 800 block of S. 3rd.

The names of the suspects are being withheld pending a review of the case by the Bell County District Attorney's Office, police said Monday.
