Three people have been killed, including the suspect, in a shooting that took place Saturday morning at a Baltimore, Maryland mall.

The Howard County fire and emergency service department sent a tweet at 11:25 a.m. EST saying that police had responded to an active shooter at a mall in Columbia, MD, a suburb of both Baltimore and Washington D.C.

A local NBC affiliate reports that a suspect has been found near a weapon and ammunition. The shooter and victims have not yet been identified.

The mall opened at 10:00 a.m. and it is currently unknown how many shoppers and employees were inside at the time. The mall was said to be secured at 12:36 p.m. EST. No shots have been reported since the discovery of the suspected gunman's body.
