The Yellow Dog Project Wants to Protect You from Dogs–and Dogs from You

Have you ever been bitten by a strange dog. I have as a kid and it was always seemed like it was always when I was riding a bike. Not sure if this would of helped me, but I'm gonna tell you about this anyway. They say this is a great way to alert people of potential rabies shots.

Anyone who has ever had an angry, mean, unsocial or elderly dog is going to love The Yellow Dog Project, a global movement for parents of dogs that need space. The concept behind it is quite simple.  If you see a dog with a yellow ribbon or other items tied to its leash, that tells you that this dog who needs space. Don't pet or bring your dog around.

The Yellow Dog Project has now made its mark in 45 countries and educational materials have been translated into 12 languages. Proponents love it and they appreciate the help and respect. My question: Who are these people that go up to strange dogs???
