#TheKissGoodNight Slow Jam Of The Night 4/29: “Shorty Got Her Eyes On Me” Donell Jones

I'm really having a LOT of fun hosting The Kiss Goodnight every night! It gives me a chance to dig into the archives and find the best slow jams out there that you may have forgotten about, and tonight's jam is one I stumbled across last night while cooking dinner.

One of my favorite things to do when I'm off from work is grill. I find the whole thing relaxing and it gives me some time to listen to some music. While listening to my music library on "shuffle" this lost classic popped up and I was immediately taken back to the year 2000.

From his album "Where I Wanna Be", "Shorty" was the 3rd single released from that album and while it didn't do well on the charts, it became a classic for those single folks getting ready to leave the club with a new friend. You gotta love it when you make eye contact with someone from across the room and the drinks and conversation starts then, well, you know what's next.
