‘The Voice’ Judges Battle It Out in Season 3 Olympic-Themed Promo

‘The Voice‘ judges are back in fighting mode. A new ad promoting Season 3 of the show finds Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton once again battling each other before they are interrupted by an unlikely former Olympian.

The judges bust out advanced fighting maneuvers in the lobby of a hotel and work their way up to a private suite to find out who owns the amazing voice echoing throughout the building. Unlike last year’s Super Bowl ad, where they encountered Betty White, this time they run into “Bruce Jenner from the Kardashians,” as Levine calls him.

The judges seem dumbfounded when Jenner sheepishly explains that he is a former Olympic competitor and won a gold medal at the 1976 games in Montreal. “Cee Lo, this is how you do bling,” he declares, showing off his medal from the decathlon.

The judges are seen in the same outfits they wore in the Super Bowl spot, which means it’s entirely possible the new promo was filmed several months ago and kept in the vault until now. Recycling old commercials? Maybe NBC has no budget left after covering the real Olympics.

The search to find the successor to Season 1 and 2 winners Javier Colon and Jermaine Paul begins when ‘The Voice’ returns on Sept. 10 at 8PM ET.
