Before the Roots drop their 11th studio effort, '...and then you shoot your cousin,' on Tuesday (May 20), the legendary hip-hop band drops another visually captivating video for the spiritual tune, 'Understand.'

Much like their previous animated video for 'When the People Cheer,' the Roots enlisted Joe Baughman to construct a spiritual-themed claymation clip.

In the video, a camera follows a cut-up Benajam Franklin greenback drive around a church on top of a tray as communion wine glasses and Bibles come to life. There’s also shots of a claymation head on a stick morphing into various shapes.

All of this takes place as Black Thought, Dice Raw and Greg Porn speak the gospel truth about mankind, God and the drug game.

The Roots' LP '...and then you shoot your cousin' is available right now for pre-order on iTunes. You can also cop the 'ATYSYC' CD/T-shirt bundles at Okayplayer.com.
