The Roots, Erykah Badu, Solange & More Coming To Austin For SXSW
It's one of the most wonderful times of the year for music lovers such as myself! It's the annual SXSW Festival happening right down the road in Austin and next week I'll be in the streets running around covering all the madness!
This year's festival boasts another strong lineup of literally hundreds of music choices but of course we're going to focus in on what we love, R&B! This year's lineup has a few stars to keep an out for including Erykah Badu, Bilal, Solange and The Legendary Roots Crew!
If you're a fan of classic hip hop, you can expect to catch a few of your favorites including The Wu-Tang Clan, Redman and Method Man and so many more! Here are my top picks as of right now (because this schedule KEEPS changing as we get closer to next week, I'll keep you updated!). DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown (Erykah Badu)
Kicking off Tuesday March 14th, Erykah takes over the 1's and 2's and becomes DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown at ACL Live in a jam-packed show that includes the Wu-Tang Clan and D.C. Go-Go legends Backyard Band & Rare Essence.

Solange
Solange Knowles has emerged as a bonafied star and she will make her exclusive SXSW appearance on Wednesday, March 15, performing alongside artists from her Saint Heron label at YouTube @ Coppertank at 504 Trinity St.

The Roots
The legendary Roots Crew will be jamming on Saturday March 18th at 800 Congress Ave. for a huge jam session with some friends that include Method Man and Redman and more!
