In recent years, we've had raging debates on social media around this time of the year over the best and worst Halloween candy. It came as a complete shock to me that a recent survey by Influenster concluded that the great state of Texas, home to some of the best food on the planet, prefers the candy that continues to divide us all.... Candy Corn??

That's right....It appears many of you in Texas LOVE candy corn. I have one question for you:

Seriously? Candy corn tastes like...jeez I don't even know because to me they are flavorless! But Texas isn't alone, apparently Oregon, Wyoming, Tennessee and South Carolina share in the love of this "candy".

As I take a look at this map, I'm equally puzzled at some of the other states selections as well, like the state I was born and raised in Louisiana goes for "Swedish Fish", WHAT? I know I moved away over a decade ago, but I NEVER knew this candy EXISTED there. Also, West Virginia didn't even bother with picking a "candy" but instead chose Oreos, "a cookie", if you know anything about West Virginia, you'll understand why. And one more thing, what the hell is a "Toblerone" Arizona? The candies receiving the most votes were Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (America: Still Great), Kit Kat and Butterfinger.

We want to hear from you Central Texas! What's YOUR favorite Halloween Candy?
