Tonight, we start the show with this classic from The "Mighty Mighty" O'Jays. I stumbled upon this very cool performance of "Stairway To Heaven" on Soul Train from 1976 and it got my brain to thinking of how beautiful every note is on this song. With a title like "Stairway To Heaven" it has to sound "heavenly" right?

From their 1975 album "Family Reunion", believe it or not, "Stairway" never made it to the charts, but radio DJ's have been spinning it for decades because it continues to be one of the most requested "slow jams" of all time.
