The Glamorous Life: John Singleton Leaves Tupac Movie

Director John Singleton took to his Instagram account to explain why he is dropping out of the production of the film after announcing a week ago that the project was "on hold" according to Rolling Stone.

Singleton, who directed Tupac in Poetic Justice has been replaced by director Carl Franklin (Homeland, House of Cards) and Singleton plans to make his own Tupac film but no time frame was given as to when we can expect his version. Who better to direct a film about this hip-hop icon better than someone who has actually worked with him? I hope they can get it together.
