In the first of 3 presidential debates,  candidate Mitt Romney came out swinging last night, full of energy, and eager to get his points across.  It appeared that he was well prepped and prepared.  In contrast,  analysts and various poll results suggest that President Obama seemed "subdued", and sometimes not totally engaged.  If winning the election was to be based on last night's debate, many would say that Mitt Romney won hands down because he managed to hit his bullets and challenge the President on his performance in the last 4 years.   President Obama stood his ground on policies that have been instituted since he took office, and promised to continue to fight for the American people.  Was it enough?  Should he have been more aggressive/assertive  in his responses?  It leaves us wondering what what really going on with the President.  Perhaps he was using this first debate to gauge Mr. Romney and plan a strategy for the next 2 debates.  Who knows...
