The City of Killeen and Fort Hood Receive 3.47 Million Dollar Grant
Killeen and Fort Hood will receive nearly $3.5 million from a state funded grant the governor's office announced this morning.
This is another round of grants awarded by the state.
The money will be used to support military communities which might be impacted by a future base realignment and closure.
Some of the money will also be used to update the the Robert Gray Army Airfield Army radar approach control facility.
