Stephanie Zarriello, publisher of the weekly tabloid San Antonio Observer has gone up in arms over a recent officer-involved shooting that led to the death of 36-year-old Antronie Scott.

After speaking with the family of the deceased, she claims Scott was "unjustly murdered" by the police, describing Scott as being "in a position to surrender". In response, the publication announced plans to openly publish the names and addresses of every San Antonio police officer. She said to KENS 5.

Like Ku Klux Klansman with hoods, [officers] do everything they can in order to protect their identities for fear of being brought to justice.

Scott, who was wanted for felony warrants was shot by an undercover officer immediately after he exited his white Mercedes. Police reportedly demanded he show his hands and as he quickly turned around, an officer fired one shot, fatally striking him in the chest. Further investigation indicated Scott was holding a cell phone. In a statement sent to FOX San Antonio, the police department wrote:

"The San Antonio Police Department is continuing its investigation of the officer involved shooting. We will continue to provide the public with updates into both the criminal and administrative investigations as information becomes available. We are committed to conducting an unbiased and transparent investigation into this matter.”

This comes after another recent fatal shooting involving San Antonio officers on January 17.
