Texas Heat

I have friends all over the country and often I'm asked how is the weather today in Texas. In the summer when i tell them how warm it is here, they all say how can you stand the heat? Fact is I chose to move here to get away from the brutal winters in Chicago, and i like warm summers much more than cold winters. I remember one winter   day in CHI-Town with the wind chill factor it was 80 below zero, now to most Texans when i tell them that story they say how can you stand the cold?. As you can see it just depends if you are a warm weather person or if you perfer the cold, for me i'll take a hot summer any year over a cold winter, i'm just saying!
