Texas Chapter Of ATL Sliders Purses For A Purpose

Local organization ATL Sliders, Texas Chapter are asking for your help to help empower women in our community.

Purses For A Purpose is a community drive asking local residents to donate gently used purses that they will fill with feminine products and personal hygiene items for women in need. The purses will contain a ziploc bag with the products and they will be going to help out local homeless residents through the KPD's Homeless Outreach Team and women's shelters in the area.

You can also donate the following items to be placed in the purses: Deodorant,Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Sanitary pads, Tampons, Personal Wipes, Comb/Brush, Soap, Shampoo/Conditioner, Body Wash and Hand/Body lotion. Also, if you would like to place index sized cards with inspirational messages for all who are on the receiving end inside your purse, you're more than welcome to!

You can drop off purses or items at the following locations:

Moss Rose Community Center 1103 E. Ave. E in Killeen Tuesday and Thursdays from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm. and Mz. Champagne's Beauty Bar at 911 Trimmer Road Ste. A1
