The Temple Wildcats answered any questions that remained in regards to whether they'd clear the final hurdle on the way to the 5A Division 1 championship game with a resounding 76-35 win over Leander Vandegrift.

The Wildcats jumped up early, and they never looked back.  Marques Hatcher nearly eclipsed 300 yards, Jeff Carr was impressive as always (170+ yards before leaving early in the 2nd half) and even 3rd-string RB De'vonte Nealy rushed for more than 100 yards as QB Chad President only attempted a handful of passes in the 2nd half of the blowout win.

If you were at the game, or if you missed your chance to hear it Saturday night, here it is, in its entirety (minus commercials and halftime).  Gene Pemberton is coming to the end of a 28-year career in the broadcasting booth for Temple High School, and Saturday will mark his final game in the booth as color commentator for the Wildcats.
