Temple Police Say Teacher Encouraging Violence at School is District Matter
Temple ISD officials and police have completed their investigation of an alleged incident in which a teacher reportedly encouraged violence between two students last week.
The district said Monday that their investigation was complete and that documentation was sent to the Temple Police Department and Texas Child Protective Services. Police deemed the incident a district matter, and TISD is awaiting word from CPS.
TISD officials said employee and student discipline will be in line with district policy and code of conduct, but did not elaborate.
According to the TISD investigation, the incident stemmed from an altercation from two elementary aged children. They have not released the name of the teacher involved.
