Temple Police Investigating Armed Robbery of Convenience Store

Police in Temple are investigating after two armed men robbed a convenience store last Wednesday night.

Officers were called to the Valero store at 1706 South 31st Street at 11:42 p.m. An employee reported that two men entered the store, displayed a gun, and demanded cash. After receiving the money, the two men fled on foot. The clerk was not injured.

The first suspect was described as a light-skinned, heavy set man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, light-colored bandana and dark-rimmed glasses. The second suspect was described as being of medium build and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a ski mask, large black jeans, white shoes, and black gloves.
