A Temple man turned himself in to police Tuesday after he allegedly tried to run over a man and woman with his car and struck another vehicle occupied by three children.

24-year-old Raymon Alejandro Juarez is charged with endangering a child and causing imminent danger or bodily injury, a second-degree felony. Juarez and the father of the children reportedly got into a fight on August 19, after which the man got into a vehicle with a woman and her three children. The man says he saw Juarez following the vehicle and stopped. He and the woman exited the vehicle and Juarez attempted to run them over, missed, and instead struck the vehicle with the children inside. The incident took place in the 1300 block of Canyon Creek Drive.

The man later flagged down a patrolling officer who noticed the damage to the vehicle. The case was reviewed on September 3, and a warrant was issued for Juarez’s arrest. He is currently being held on $100,000 bond.
