It's safe to say that singer, songwriter and super producer Teddy Riley created the soundtrack of our lives if you were born between the late 70's and early 80's. He is credited with creating the "New Jack Swing" sound and he has plans to celebrate his 30 years of creating ground breaking music with a huge concert in Harlem.

The Kings And Queens Of New Jack Swing concert happens Sunday December 9th with 2 shows at the historic and legendary Apollo Theater and the lineup reads like a who's who of R&B and hip hop royalty. Performances by Keith Sweat, members of Guy and Blackstreet, Doug E. Fresh, Kool Moe Dee, MC Lyte, DJ D-Nice, Al B Sure and more artists to be announced and a few surprises as well.

This special evening will not only serve as a homecoming for Harlem natives Teddy Riley and Keith Sweat but also as a celebration of the ground-breaking sub-genre created in the iconic Harlem streets. - via Apollo Theater

If you plan to be in the NYC area this weekend, you definitely want to get tickets to this show!
