“Step” With Melz At Celebrate Killeen This Weekend!

It's going to be a great weekend at Celebrate Killeen! The fun actually kicks off today (Thursday April, 28th) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Killeen Community Center, 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Boulevard. There's going to be a live gospel concert, food trucks, craft vendors and kiddie train rides.

There's more fun tomorrow (Friday) with a free KTX Poetry Slam and the second annual Food Truck Competition at 7 p.m. at Vive Les Arts Theatre, 3401 S. WS Young Drive.

Then on Saturday (April 30), it's all day fun starting with the Fallen Heroes 5K run benefitting the Law Enforcement Assistance Fund at Killeen Community Center at 8 a.m. Registration for the run is open now at www.killeentexas.gov/centex.

There's lots to do starting at 1 p.m. at the Killeen Community Center including Craft & Food Vendors, Children’s Fun Zone, Petting Zoo & Pony Rides and Car and Bike Show. Then at 4 p.m. Melz on The MIC will be hosting the Step Competition featuring some of the Best Step Teams from local schools! Come out and enjoy a great weekend at Celebrate Killeen!
