Spooky is the Pet of the Week

Our Pet of the Week is a Miniature Schnauzer named Spooky.  He won’t scare you but you might scare him if you get to boisterous. 

Officer Hetzel from the Temple Animal Shelter says Spooky takes a little time to warm up to people, but once she does you have a friend for life.

Spooky weighs about 13 pounds full grown, she is leash trained and loves nice quiet attention.  Spooky would be the perfect dog for an elderly couple or anybody who has a pretty calm household.

Stop by the Temple Animal Shelter, (620 Mama Dog Shelter) to see if Spooky is a good fit for your family.  You can take her off leash in the play area outside; they also have a play area inside the shelter.  If you have other dogs, bring them too. You can see how they interact with Spooky.
