"Incomparable" is a word that gets thrown around a lot these days but it really truly applies to Patti Labelle. From her incredible catalog of music to her shifting into food with her now famous "Patti Pies" she deserves all the flowers we can give her.

That's why the City Of Philadelphia is honoring their home girl with her own street according to WPVI.

The stretch between Spruce and Locust streets in Philly will officially be known as "Patti LaBelle Way."

The street renaming recognizes LaBelle's career and determination, rising from her local church choir in Philadelphia to becoming an acclaimed, two-time Grammy award winner. - via WPVI

Sometimes referred to as “The Godmother of Soul,” LaBelle has won two Grammy Awards and has appeared on TV shows like “American Horror Story: Freak Show” in addition to her cooking show, “Patti LaBelle’s Place.”

Patti will be in attendance for the ceremony that happens on Tuesday afternoon (July 2nd) and is expected to make a few remarks.
