Severe Weather Expected Wed. PM in North and Central Texas

Severe weather is expected for a large chunk of terrain in Texas Wednesday afternoon and evening. From the National Weather Service:

"There are two main areas of concern for severe storm development on Wednesday: near a dryline located west of Interstate 35 and also in warm, humid air east of the dryline; mainly along and east of Interstate 35/35W. Any storms will be capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes. The threat for severe storms will continue into the night as a cold front overtakes the dryline and moves east across North and Central Texas."

The NWS forecast for Wednesday includes a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy and windy otherwise with a high near 79. Wind gusts as high as 30 MPH. Wednesday Night, expect a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low around 60.
