The Central Texas Sickle Cell Anemia Association is asking for the help of churches around Central Texas for their "Red Ribbon Church Collection" Day on September 20th. There is no cure for Sickle Cell and the treatments involve frequent doctor trips, transfusions and medicine that can be very expensive for families dealing with this disease.
