One of the founding members of legendary R&B group The Whispers, Nicholas Caldwell has passed away at the age of 71 after suffering from health issues according to Cleveland.com. Founded in 1963, The Whispers consisted of twin brothers Scotty and Walter Scott, Gordy Harmon, Marcus Hutson and Caldwell, the group survived a career of over 30 years of hits with Caldwell writing one of the groups biggest songs "Lady".
