Rihanna is celebrating her 25th birthday today (Feb. 20) in a big way. The R&B superstar has partnered with MAC Cosmetics to launch her own makeup line, reports WWD.

The Bajan beauty, who calls the deal a "no-brainer," will collaborate with the cosmetic giant to create a four-collection line called RiRi [Hearts] MAC. The first product to be released from the collection is a red lipstick called RiRi Woo. The launch of the makeup will coincide with Rihanna's Diamonds World Tour stop at the Barclays Arena in New York on May 4 and 5. There will be a pop-up shop inside the venue so fans can buy the singer's first offering.

“When you think of makeup, the brand that pops into your mind -- for something legit -- is MAC,” RiRi said about her partnership with MAC. “Whatever color you want, it’s like ‘Let’s go to MAC.’ I’ve been using MAC on tour for such a long time it was a natural fit for me. I have always loved makeup, and I always said that if I do it, I want to do it with a credible brand.”

There will also be a summer collection, which will include two additional lipsticks; a fall line with four lipsticks, a lipgloss and other make-up accoutrements and a holiday line with 10 items, including nail polish, a makeup bag and more lipsticks.

Rihanna was able to get her friends involved in the creative process as well to determine the right colors and textures for her products. “I really got to play," she said. "There’s so much to choose from, and you can mix different textures with different colors and different greens in different eye shadows."

Along with her clothing line River Island, it looks like Rihanna is becoming a mogul outside of the world of music. “When it comes to creating things, I like to get my hands in there,” she said. "I never thought I’d be able to create makeup with such a big brand so quickly at such a young age. It’s kind of sick to even say aloud when I think about it.”
