On December 20, Queen Latifah's 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 was stolen.

The incident occurred at the Shell gas station on Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Queen Latifah was not the one behind the wheel driving, according to the police report the driver of the car was pumping gas when a white BMW pulled up next to the Mercedes and a person jumped out and sped off with Latifah's car.

Atlanta police officers were able to recover the vehicle, the officers tracked down the car to an apartment complex on McDaniels Street in Southwest Atlanta. Security said they saw three males near the vehicle, as well as a white BMW and another Dodge Charger. The Dodge Charger was a similar car that had been reported stolen in College Park.

Once the vehicle was recovered Latifah inspected the car and found lemonade and fruit punch bottles left behind by the carjackers. Queen Latifah was in Atlanta at the time of carjacking filming her new show Star, that will air on FOX. Police are still looking for the carjackers, there has been no arrest made at this time.

Carjackings at south Fulton gas stations have been a problem, recently retired Fulton Superior Court Judge Marvin Arrington Sr., was also the victim of a carjacking on Cascade Road. In a situation that was similar to Queen Latifah's, Arrington told police that when he parked his car to pump gas a male jumped into his car and drove off. Police are still investigating his carjacking and no arrest has been made at this time.
