Prince’s first wife and muse, Mayte Garcia, is penning an “intimate memoir” about her life and times with the late music icon.

According to Associated Press, Garcia’s book, titled The Most Beautiful, will be published on Hachette Books. Of course, the title is derived from Prince’s classic 1994 ballad, “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World,” which Garcia inspired.

Prince and Garcia were married on Valentine’s Day in 1996 and were expecting a child. Sadly, the newborn, a son, passed away just a week after his birth and Garcia lost another child after suffering a miscarriage. The couple divorced in June 2000.

Garcia said in a press release that she and Prince had an "almost otherworldly connection" and that she wanted to share "the highs and lows" of their love story.

Prince died on April 22 from an accidental drug overdose of Fentanyl. He was 57.

“This man was my everything, we had a family,” said Garica of Prince. “I am beyond deeply saddened and devastated.”

“I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally,” she added. “He’s with our son now.”

Mayte Garcia's book, The Most Beautiful, is scheduled to be release in April 2017.
