Portion of Avenue M in Temple Closed Until Thursday

The City of Temple announced Tuesday afternoon that it was shutting down a portion of Avenue M between 5th and 9th Street until Thursday, March 15.

City Communications Director Shannon Gowan said the purpose of the closure is to allow crews space to repair a water line.

Drivers are advised to watch for detour signs and work crews in the area.
