We have some sad news to pass along as one of the members of the legendary R&B group The Emotions has passed away.

According to Black America Web, Pamela Hutchinson, one-third of the all-sister group best known for their classic smash hit "Best Of My Love" passed away on Friday (Sept. 18) at the age of 61.

According to a post on the group's Facebook page, Pamela had been dealing with various health challenges throughout the years but didn't go into detail.

Pamela was the youngest member of the trio and along with her sisters Wanda and Sheila, the group released 9 albums throughout their career, one platinum and three gold. They lent their vocals to the Earth Wind & Fire classic "Boogie Wonderland" while scoring a few classic hits of their own including "Best Of My Love" and "Don't Ask My Neighbor".
