Killeen police are investigating Monday night shooting that left at least one person injured.

Chelsea Edwards with our news partner, KWTX, reports that the shooting occurred around 11:30 PM at the intersection of Central Texas Expressway and Trimmier Road. Police found the victim next to a black SUV in the roadway.

Kirsten Farmer with the Killeen Daily Herald reports that the victim was a man, and he was transported to Temple's Baylor Scott & White Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Killeen police have not released any names or information about a suspect, but are asking anyone who may have useful information to contact them at (254) 501-8830.
