Nicki Minaj New Fragrance

Nicki Minaj wants her Barbz to smell extra sweet this spring season. The Young Money vixen is set to release an updated version of her Pink Friday fragrance in May.

Called Special Edition, the perfume is slightly different from her original release. The first bottle featured Minaj's likeness sporting a gold-colored face, a pink wig and a white bustier while her new container boasts a white wig and a pink bustier.

The new scent is described as a floral gourmand fragrance with notes of apple, white raspberry and grapefruit mixed with jasmine and honeysuckle. All this sounds like a fruit salad to us, so we think the smell is going to be delicious!

“My fascination with changing my look is a way to express myself creatively," says Minaj about her new perfume (quotes courtesy of TheMoodieReport). "Pink Friday, my first fragrance, is a reflection of me. While introducing a unique collectible bottle, I wanted to give my Barbz a special edition fragrance to wear, adding a bit of dimension and playfulness to the original scent."

The Nicki Minaj Pink Friday Special Edition will cost $59 for the large bottle and $39 for the small.

Meanwhile, her fellow 'American Idol' judge Mariah Carey will also release a new fragrance called Mariah Carey Dreams. The perfume, available in April, will boast a scent of caramel apple, star anise, bergamot and toasted almonds. Sounds like a fancy dessert to us, but we digress.

The bottle will be in the shape of a champagne flute with butterflies adorned on the cap. Mimi's Dreams perfume is priced at $49 for the large and $39 for the small.

Both fragrances will likely be available at Macy's or at your favorite department stores.
