More Uproar in Ferguson With Shooting of Police Officers

The Ferguson Police Department has been the focus of protest since Darren Wilson shot and killed Mike Brown on Aug. 9, 2014.

We learned early this morning that two police officers standing guard outside the police department were shot, but have recently been released from the hospital.

Demonstrators came out Wednesday night to protest to the announcement of the Ferguson police Chief Thomas Jackson's resignation. The few there were leaving when gunshots rang out just after midnight. Witnesses say the gunfire came from a hill a distance away from where the protestors were gathered.
