Martin Luther King Jr. March In Killeen Cancelled Due To Inclement Weather

On Monday Jan. 16th, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as we recognize this great man's birthday. Unfortunately, the annual MLK Day March held in Killeen by the NAACP Killeen Branch #6189 has been cancelled due to a forecast of inclement weather on Monday.

The annual march that takes place in downtown Killeen has not been rescheduled but The annual MLK Day Program will still take place at 11:00 AM at The Marion J & Alice W. Douse Community Center at Anderson Chapel AME Church located at 1002 Jefferies Drive in Killeen. The program will feature guest speaker Dr. Joe Burns, Superintendent of Copperas Cove ISD.
