Loretta Lynch Becomes the First Black Female Attorney General
Congratulations to Loretta Lynch! It has been confirmed by the Senate that she will be stepping into the role of Attorney General as Eric Holder steps down. She was nominated by President Obama back in November for the position.
The vote was 56-43 and she is coming into her position at a time when the country is grappling with tough questions about civil rights and police brutality. Side note -- she is a Delta, too.
How do you think she'll do in the role?
