Temple Parks and Leisure Services will present the 8th Annual Endurance Outfitters Hot 2 Trot 5K on Saturday, July 19th. The race begins at 7:30 am at Fikes Wholesale Inc. (6261 Central Pointe Pkwy), a new race location for this year’s event.
Early registration is $20 and closes July 15. Race day registration is $25 and will be available onsite from 6-7 a.m. .
Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers as well as the top three finishers per age group. This race is part of the CenTex Race Series and points will be awarded per series age groups. The race will be “chip timed” and access to professional online race photos is included with registration.
“Whether you are a veteran runner or want to complete your first race, a 5K like the Hot 2 Trot is a great way to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends,” said Tracy Klusacek,
"This 3.1 mile course features a scenic, rolling hill run that will start and finish at Fikes Wholesale Inc. Runners and walkers of all ability levels are welcome to attend".
