Lauryn Hill Covers Nina Simone On “The Tonight Show”
If you have the opportunity to catch Lauryn Hill live nowadays, you have to take advantage of it. But to see her performing on television is a much rarer sight. Ms. Hill made her return to television for a special performance on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon" on Thursday night and blew away the audience with her cover of Nina Simone's "Feeling Good".
According to Rolling Stone, "Feeling Good" is one of six songs Ms. Hill is contributing to the compilation "Nina Revisited: A Tribute to Nina Simone" which also features performances by Mary J. Blige, Usher and more. This was also Lauryn's first late night tv performance in over 4 years, so next time you hear about her being on TV, you may want to set your DVR.
