Kiss @ SXSW: Erykah Badu At The House Of Vans
The big spring break music event of the year is well underway in Austin and my first night out there was already a very good one! Out of the hundreds of shows on tap Wednesday Night, I had ONE mission and ONLY one mission in mind: Erykah Badu.
But first check out some new music acts we was jamming to before Ms. Badu took the stage! First up, a rising singer songwriter named Kelela performed a few of her songs which were great and had us all spellbound.
After a few other groups, the star of the show took the stage and while her performance was short due to time (running late) I still enjoyed my first "Badu Live Experience"! She even hung out after the show and took photos with fans!
