Killeen Road Closure Extended

If your route through Killeen includes Parmer Avenue, you should be prepared for another week of detours.

The City of Killeen announced Friday morning that a closure of Parmer from North 20th to North 22nd that began Wednesday would continue until Friday the 23rd.

This section of road will be closed Monday through Friday of next week from 7 AM to 5 PM as utility workers replace water mains.

In a press release, the City apologized for the inconvenience, thanked drivers for their patience, and asked that driver's obey warning signs and watch for workers.
