It's the most wonderful time of the year, its Holiday Melz season in Central Texas and that means you'll be finding me all over the area spreading holiday cheer!

It kicks off this weekend at the Killeen Community Center for their annual "Holiday Under The Stars" weekend December 1st and December 2nd. Lots of family fun activities for everyone and you know the big man "Santa" is gonna be in the building!

Saturday, December 1 things kick off with Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 11 a.m. A full pancake breakfast is served with a side of Santa, who will take photos and wish lists. Tickets are available at the Community Center for $5 in advance or $6 at the event. Then from 3:00 PM to 8 PM the festival kicks off with live entertainment, arts and crafts and cupcake decorating. Santa will return to light the 50-foot silhouette holiday tree at 6 p.m. then stay for photos and the evening wraps up with a free outdoor screening of “The Grinch.”

The fun is back Sunday, December 2, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 pm with live entertainment, holiday activities and Santa will continue to bring the spirit of the season. A new special attraction this year will be a giant synthetic snow hill slide for kids and adults. And guess who's broadcasting live:
