Killeen And All Of Central Texas: Sing The Thanksgiving Carol ‘You Name It’
As we get closer to Thanksgiving, what the world needs now, more than ever before since this election is over, is a song that will unite us all! Thankfully, the internet provides, and so does gospel icon Shirley Caesar who unexpectedly has taken social media by storm with her remixed version of "Hold My Mule" which everyone has affectionately renamed "You Name It".
I'm already declaring this America's first ever "Thanksgiving Carol" and lots of folks on social media have said that they plan on blasting the song during their Thanksgiving holiday but what does Pastor Shirley Caesar think of all of this? In a recent interview, she told TMZ that she's very happy and excited about the phenomenon but she has one problem and request that she would like to make.
In other words, she's okay with us having fun with it, just don't take it too far! And I have to agree with her on that point, but trust us Pastor Caesar, not everyone is acting a fool.
